Education Stakeholders Alliance

The Education Stakeholders Alliance is a working coalition of up to 30 statewide and local grassroots organizations built across traditional barriers of race, class, political affiliation and geography.

The Alliance came together in 2004 to support increased public funding for public education and to resist the Governor’s attempts to make valium online buy massive cuts in public education funding.

From 2004 to 2006 the Alliance fought to limit the Governor’s cuts in public education funding while building widespread popular support for full funding of the MS Adequate Education Program.  In 2007 the legislature fully funded the MAEP and did so again in 2008.
